Description

Casale Gognano is a small, in spring 2009 fully renovated holiday cottage in the countyside, about 2.5 - 3 km outside of Montepulciano. It has a kitchen area with stove, oven, cupboards, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, dining table, sofa bed for 1 person, air conditioning and a fireplace. Further there is a double bedroom with double bed and a modern bathroom (also suitable for wheelchair users) with shower and toilet. Only the bathroom does not offer direct access to the garden.

The well-tended garden is equipped with 2 sun loungers, parasol and a table, chairs and barbecue.

The area surrounding the holiday home offers many recreational opportunities: Medieval towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia, etc. are located in close proximity. The Great Lake Trasimeno is also not too far away and invites you to swim. For golfers, the Golf Club Laborghini is to be mentioned. The regional forests are ideal for walking trips in autumn and close-by cities as Montepulciano and Montalcino are well-known to wine connoisseur anyway. Even In winter there is even the opportunity to seek out the ski resort of Mount Amiata, which is only about 40 km away, offering 12 ski lifts, 12 runs and 4 trails.
Moreover, the most famous hot springs of southern Tuscany are virtually around the corner: Montepulciano, Bagni San Filippo, Bagno Vignoni, Chianciano Terme, San Casciano dei Bagni and a little further away Saturnia and Rapolano.
